Escapelabel rose from the ashes of the Houston-based solidskin independent clothing company (2000-2004) when solidskin artist Steven Trimble parted ways with his co-owners in late 2004 to form escapelabel clothing brand. As the clothing line scored acclaim for his striking indie/punk artwork, Trimble saw a void in the Houston music scene that he knew he could fill. To do so, he introduced escapelabel’s media services division in 2006.

“I’ve seen a lot of bands that have the music,” says Trimble, “but they don’t have the show. In the music industry, the music comes first, but the visual presentation is almost just as important.
